All suites have a full kitchen, and are furnished with Belizean rattan furniture, including a sofa sleeper in the living areas. They are equipped with AC,
ceiling fans, cable TV, direct dial telephone and an in-room safe. In addition to the suites, Banana Beach has (22) private Balcony rooms and (6)
Veranda rooms with AC, ceiling fans, cable TV, the direct dial telephone and in-room safes.
All suites and rooms have direct access to two garden courtyards and swimming pool areas. The courtyards are lavishly decorated with clay
pottery from the Yucatan and the local tropical plants create the environment of a virtual terrarium.
Banana Beach is located on the best natural beach areas of Ambergris Caye known as Mar de Tumbo. A natural break in the reef, about a quarter
mile off shore, allows the ocean waves to flow in more freely, causing deeper water and a sandier sea bed. Banana Beach is also located about half a
mile south of San Pedro Town. To reach the center of town takes about a 20 minute walk along the beach or a ten minute bicycle ride. If you're really
pressed for time, a five minute ride on a golf cart, the vehicle of choice on the island, might be the ticket.
Fine dining is available at El Divino, the Caribbean steakhouse and martini bar located right at Banana Beach. A tempting selection of fresh
seafood, USDA meats, pastas and wood-fired pizzas, not to mention our unique Brazilian Rotisserie will delight the most discerning palate.
