Casas Pelicano offers a contrasting program to Rainforest tours: Sun and Pacific Beach, far away from crowded tourist attractions. Two guesthouses in a very private location, directly on the 2 km and mostly empty beach of beautiful Playa Junquillal. Each guesthouse is fully equipped for 2-3 persons. There is a large tropical garden and a pool with ocean view. Pure relaxing before, after or between your adventures in the Rainforest. In case you are curious to know elevated Costa Rican style cooking (or other subjects), take a cooking lesson with Sibyl. In Junquillal, Pacific Leatherback Turtles are nesting from October to March. Thanks to a WWF protection program this beach has become very important by increasing the turtle population.
